Meet Oliver Dee and Jenny

Isn't he the cutest thing you have ever laid eyes on? I got him from a breeder in Springfield a couple of weekends ago and we have been consumed with every move he makes. My dad actually sent me to get him for my mom, but the kids can't stay away from him. He kept my mom up the first couple of nights but is now getting into the hang of things. He went to the vet and he weighs a whopping 3.7 pounds. The vet doesn't think he will get very big, but I am guessing somewhere around 18-20 pounds. He is an American Eskimo Spitz.....he is also one of the most spoiled dogs in the world.

Which now leads me to have to blog about my beloved blue heeler/boxer mix, Jenny. She is an outside dog, because of her size. She is about 80 pounds, but is so loving and playful. We have had her about 5 years now. Oliver is a little scared of Jenny right now, but I am sure that all has to do with the size difference. Jenny is a very active dog and she makes it almost impossible to get pictures of her.
Stay tuned for more pictures of these cuties later....also, I will try to get good pictures of our cat and all of our fishes :) We are animal lovers here!!

Shark Attack!!

While in Little Rock, we got out of the rain and took the kids to the local museum. There were lots of neat things for the kids to do there, but these are my favorite pictures from that day. They stood in front of the shark cage to act like the shark was about to attack them.

Jonas Brothers & Little Rock

We took Jessica to see the Jonas Brothers this past weekend in Little Rock. She had a blast! I have to say that these kids put on quite the concert. It was a sold out concert and we had great seats. Unfortunately, we didn't get to take the camera :( and we could have gotten great pictures! We were not very far from the stage. Now she wants to be able to go to each concert that is close now! Little Rock is not a bad drive, but it sure is boring....all interstate.

The weather was not all that great, but we got to stay in the famous Peabody Hotel. This hotel is a treat all by itself. We got to see the duck march a couple of times too. This Peabody has a total of 19 floors and the second shot is a picture I took looking up at the elevators. We were standing in front of the fountain in the main lobby.

Both of the kids enjoyed room service, but Jonathan LOVED their chocolate cake. Just look at that smile!

This is a picture of the arena from our hotel window and it gives you an idea of what the weather was like while we were there. Even with yuck weather, we had a great weekend.

Spoiled Child...but my birthday is close

Does that count?? I found these boots and immediately needed to have them as my very own. My parents heard me say how much I "needed" them and then bought them for me. Spoiled, yes....and proud of it.

Aren't they great!

Thanks mom and dad!

Ready or not....for glasses!

Jessica got her new glasses a little over a week ago and I just now getting her to agree to smile for a picture. The one of the kids in the last post was taken just a few mintues before I posted it. I think my baby looks great in glasses. She, however, is working on getting use to contacts and I thinkg glasses will be short lived. I'm amazed at how quick she is picking up the process of contacts and lense care. She is just determined to not wear glasses.

Puzzle work

We (or me mostly) are obsessed with puzzles. We have them everywhere in our house. Not like in frames hanging around but some are on cardboard underneath the bed or we have glued them together to use as a background for our fish tanks. It is a great way to spend time with each other. Here is our latest work, a 1000 pc Thomas Kinkade. It turned out really nice but it is now going to go back into the box. Hopfully in large pcs and not in all the small pcs.
Had to include a picture of my kids...they are getting ready to separate the pcs for our next puzzle.

Playing with wigs

My dad's treatment has finally caused most of his hair to fall out. A few weeks ago we were playing around with some wigs we had at home. He was being such a good sport about it. I couldn't resist posting my favorite one. I like him in a wig, but the bald look is in and I think my dad looks pretty great! Plus....if my dad was going to ge a wig, it would not be blonde :)

Best Friends

Last catch up Christmas post...I promise. These kids and their momma mean so much to us. They recently had to move and we are just heart broken. So, mom if you are reading this - YOU GUYS ARE MISSED. We are looking foward to summer so we can see each other more.

Beautiful, beautiful kids!

Grandkids at Christmas

Pictures from our time opening gifts with MeMaw. These show off all of her grandkids. My mother in law is an amazing woman!
Sister in law with her 2 youngest....oh and by the way, they are all Auburn fans :) I was an Auburn fan before I married Todd, but I have since learned that in the ultimate house of love for Alababama, you will not be able to resist the conversion. I use to think my husband was the ultimate Alabama fan....that award now goes to my oldest child. Watch the picture posting - any of them. I bet 9 times out of 10 he will be wearing some garment that has ALABAMA on it.

Oldest grandchild here. He is just as rotten as the rest of them :)

All the other grandkids....as you can see they are stair steps. They all love their MeMaw very much too. Corky (dog) is MeMaw's newest addition.

Alabama fans! Could they be any cuter?

HENRY'S - We love you guys!

We got together with my sister-in-law during the holidays for a little hanging out time. These are my most favorite people in the world to hang out with. We had a really good time and I just wanted to share some of our pictures. We sat around and talked and played pool late, late into the evening....acting like we are young or something.
Sister in law and brother in law

Me and nephew

the 2 most wonderful and beautiful women in the world :)

Three most goofy dudes you will ever meet.....but I love 'em.

How to Make a Daughter's Day

She is holding tickets to a JONAS BROTHERS concert!!! That's right, we are going to have a mom and daughter date to hear her most favorite boys in the world. We have planned a weekend trip for all of us, but this will be the highlight for us. Todd and Jonathan will have free time to bum around while we attend the concert and we then have family plans for Saturday :)

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. We have had several things going on in our lives and that left little time for blogging....no matter how much I missed it. I hope to stay up to date now. Sometimes life gives you lemons and what can ya do.....make lemonade! We had a wonderful Christmas and was able to spend time with family. The new year came in pretty quite for us and we were perfectly fine with that! I thank all of you so very much for your thoughts and prayers.
